Sweating problems can be a lot for any individual to deal with since they have components of mental, emotional and physical aspects that all come to impact those who have this condition. Sometimes the best way to over come this condition is to deal with it on a personal level rather then trying to seek out as many “cures” as possible to combat the condition at first. It’s good to gain an understanding of the cause of your condition before you try to run out and seek a sweating cure that is suppose to “magically” resolve the condition itself. If you think about things on a deeper level, the more you feed into “cures” that only end up not giving you the results you want, the deeper your self confidence and self esteem will plunge.

Sweating problems can occur in a number of different areas, becoming familiar with these areas and how each one has its own unique course of action and different treatment options in invaluable information when it comes time to finding a solution that is right for you. Before you begin with anything, you should consult with a licensed doctor who can give you a better understanding of the severity of your particular condition and what options are best for you.

Sweating Armpits – Is personally what I deal with. This condition is one of the more visually noticeable ones because a strong and distinctive odor as well as the typical sweat marks and stains will follow this. The first thing you should look into is deodorants, and if those don’t work you can look into things like sweat pads. Surgical procedures are not so common of a thing for this kind of condition making other alternatives worth looking into.

Facial Sweating – Can be VERY annoying since it is obviously taking place at the center of focus on your head. There are a number of special treatments that can be used to reduce the amount of sweat in the area, however, depending on how severe your case is most of the time it is recommended that you carry around a special cloth that is designed to soak up the excessive amounts of sweat and perspiration so that it can help to reduce much of the odor (if any) that is present. In the cases of extreme facial sweating, a special type of medication is usually prescribed to help reduce the amount of sweat that occurs on your face – surgical procedures are also not that common for this type of condition.

Sweaty Palms – As far as sweating problems go, is not one of the more embarrassing forms of this condition to have since it is generally more annoying then something that impact your way of life or self confidence.

Sweating Feet – Usually go hand in hand with sweaty palms for some individuals and can be quite annoying because the buildup of bacteria in the area of the feet can result in frequent bacterial and yeast infections. Special socks are made that act much like sweat pads do for the reason that they help to absorb most of the sweat and eliminate the odor with special things like activated carbon which also serves to help reduce the occurrence of infections.

It is important that you discuss your sweating problems with your doctor as only they can accurately make a treatment that is centered and focused around your diagnosis. What may help one particular area of the body with reducing sweat might not be a realistic option for another and different approaches are always recommended based upon your unique severity.

Living with my sweating problems over the years has given me a lot of insight into this condition that I hope to share with anybody willing to listen to me today. If you’ve been reading other posts of mine before this, then you already know that I have had this condition since around the time of me entering 6th grade. I have learned a lot about all of the different things that can make this condition worse as well as what you can do to help make it better. If you are looking for a good amount of insight from somebody who has dealt with this problem for a good number of years, then I’m your guy!

First of all, I feel compelled to say that everybody I meet that wants to stop sweat from being overproduced in their body is on a huge crusade to try all of these crazy “cures” right off of the bat. All I have to say is that if you suspect, or even if you KNOW, that you have this kind of problem then your first course of action needs to be visiting your doctor. Most people are terribly embarrassed to do this, but guess what? Your doctor has only seen hundreds to thousands of similar cases, many much worse then yours and they aren’t in a position to hold a judgment against you. Sometimes we make our fears into excuses to prevent us from seeking and gaining the help we need only to keep us inside of a comfort zone – if you have a sweating problem and you know it, begin by visiting your doctor.

It took me a long time to realize this and by visiting my doctor I learned about what the nature and the name of the condition was. Once my problem had a name attached to it and I could begin researching it, I began to accept it more and I felt more empowered rather then dis-empowered by what my body was doing. I can tell you that just knowing that helped to reduce a lot of what I came to call anxiety sweating, or sweating as a result of being nervous or very anxious. Just knowing or expecting that I would sweat profusely was usually enough to trigger this condition for me.

Since my condition was specifically effecting my armpit area, I wanted nothing more personally then to stop armpit sweating as soon as possible. My doctor put me on some heavy-duty versions of prescription deodorants that you can’t buy in a store, however, unfortunately enough they didn’t do that much to help my condition since it was definitely classified as being on the “severe” side of the spectrum. Still, I wanted nothing more then to stop my overactive sweat glands from producing too much perspiration so I started looking for more alternative solutions.

Everybody wants to stop sweating naturally, but truthfully, there is no “magic bullet” or cure for sweating that is going to just make it all go away. These types of conditions are difficult to treat in the first place; I have noticed one thing over the years that has effected my condition more so then any other factor and yes, you guessed it, it was none other then my diet.

Once I started to eliminate all of the junk and the garbage out of my diet and started eating more organic and whole foods I noticed an IMMEDIATE improvement. I would say that I went from being in the severe category to maybe going down to a slightly moderate case – as long as I kept my anxiety under control I was fine.

For me, the causes of sweating that I found myself to be predisposed to or things that could aggravate my condition were definitely diet and stress. Once I began to fix these things and bring them under my control, my sweating problems definitely improved dramatically.

If you are looking to prevent sweating problems then it’s probably a fairly accurate guess to assume that your problem has become severe enough to push you to seek help – and rightfully so because finding help to stop sweating is available to you. There are a number of different steps you can take to help with your overall condition and the results you see from these methods are going to be determined only by how consistent and persistent you stick to them. Depending on who you speak with, there are quite literally thousands of different methods out there that you can begin to experiment with.

Most sweat problems all come from a condition formerly known as hyperhidrosis, which is medical terminology that basically means that excessive amounts of sweat are produced without any apparent reason and sporadically even during cooler temperatures and during the absence of any physical activity. The symptoms of sweating problems and hyperhidrosis are characterized by large amount of sweat produced that is accompanied by an odor that deodorants do not seem to have an effect on.

In order to best reduce your sweat problems, the best thing you can do is understand what options and treatments are available to you:

Antiperspirants and Deodorants – are usually the first line of defense in treating sweating problems. The main ingredient of choice are compounds based on aluminum chloride and are usually applied before bedtime and when first waking up. These deodorants themselves do not serve to reduce the amount of sweat produced, rather, they are an efficient way of reducing the amount of odor caused due to bacteria in the sweat itself. These deodorants can be irritating and damaging to the skin and also potentially harmful to people with kidney disease, therefore, you always want to work closely with your doctor or pharmacist to determine if these prescription strength antiperspirants are right for you.

Sweat Pads – are another great choice for individuals to use, especially those who suffer from underarm, chest or even feet sweating problems as they are easily able to be concealed and do a fantastic job at absorbing all of the moisture that causes the visible stains while helping to eliminate the associated odors caused by bacterial buildup. This can also help with nervous sweating conditions that tend to present themselves in social situations.

Medications – can be prescribed to patients who are unresponsive to the previous solutions and for those individuals with more severe cases in order to help reduce sweating. There can be a lot of associated side effects with these medications and deciding whether or not to begin a long term regime of them is something that will require a lot of consideration on your part. The primary reason for using these medications for your sweating problems would be to help reduce the stimulation of the sweat glands, helping them to return to a more natural state of sweat production over time.

Electric Therapy – is another option you can consider for heavy sweating that occurs in the hands and feet. This type of therapy is performed by soaking the hands and the feed into a bath and water and then running a current through it until it is sufficient enough to literally temporarily “turn off” the sweat glands in this area, preventing them from producing a large amount of sweat.

Surgery – is the most extreme option and is only successful in patients who suffer from sweating problems of the face and hands; unfortunately surgery is not wildly successful for those who suffer from underarm sweating. The purpose of this procedure is to remove and permanently turn off and deactivate a signaling mechanism in the body that controls the amount of sweat produced in the glands.

Botox – is something that a lot of people consider, although it is not right for everybody. This procedure is technically less invasive then surgery but potentially not as debilitating as taking medications. Botox is also one of the only ways to help people with sweating problems occurring in the underarm area. The goal of this procedure is to inject a substance into the sweat glands to block them from producing sweat temporarily.

Knowing all of the options that are available to you is going to empower you to make a better decision in the over treatment of your sweating condition. Taking the time to do additional research and speaking to those experienced with this condition will help you to arrive at the best possible decision for your unique condition. Sweating problems have a tendency to not only impair us medically, but socially as well which is why seeking treatment is just as important for your health as your social relationships.

Dealing with sweating problems is something that those who suffer from this type of condition would love to avoid, if it was possible in any way. This type of condition puts a lot of strain on people as it can serve to devalue social relationships and even serve as a starting point to developing a lack of confidence and self esteem. Try as hard as some individuals might, dealing with sweating problems is difficult because of the lack of any true solution that will completely eliminate the problem. The best way to deal with these problems is to learn about some other methods that can help you to control the sweating or at least assist in helping you to understand what causes it.

Sweating causes for this particular condition are aggravated especially by times of stress and anxiety. Even while you are not doing anything in particular to warrant a lot of sweat, it’s a fact that becoming nervous or stressed in any situation will act as a catalyst to increase the amount of sweat you produce; just merely worrying about how much sweat you will produce in public is enough of a trigger to actually cause you to produce more sweat then usual. Often individuals find that just being in social situations is enough to increase the sweat production to a degree that will require a change of clothes every few hours.

Severe sweating is absolutely no joke as it can put a damper on social and professional relationships, as well as intimate ones which leaves people desperately searching for a way to stop their sweating problems. The best way to prevent sweating is to start with the simplest sweating treatment you can find, such as deodorants and work your way up from there. There’s no need to dive head first into some of the more obscure treatments that have nasty side-effects if you don’t need to. It’s entirely possible to have a moderate or less severe case of a sweating condition that can be remedied by these prescription strength deodorants or even by wearing darker clothing. If this fails to produce any satisfactory results, the next best thing to look into would be into something like sweat pads if you have underarm sweating problems.

While it is understandable that people who suffer from this condition want a “cure” in every sense of the word, it may come down to playing defense and finding the best way to prevent sweating problems from impacting your life in other ways, such as avoiding having visually apparent stains and marks accompanied by odors appear on your shirt regularly. If you want to formulate the best methods to use in controlling your sweat, you should speak with your doctor and have him agree on a plan of action with you. Following all of these steps will allow you to get a better grip on your sweating problems and gradually help to empower you while restoring your since of confidence and self.

Sweating problems are something that, unfortunately enough, have come to effect a large part of the population. Dealing with these types of problems can be a strain both physically, emotionally and mentally. Gathering all of the information about all of your possible options is the best way to combat this condition as there is no clear-cut definitive answer or solution. The best advice that can be given for anybody with this condition is to become as well educated about all of the different options and possible ways of dealing with sweating problems that exist today.

While it is true that a sweating problem is a medical condition in its nature, it’s also true that for the majority of people who suffer from this condition that it impacts them more socially then it does medically. Excessive sweating problems are categorized by a persistent odor that is present even without a good reason, such as physical exercise or activity; the odor itself cannot be eliminated by the use of deodorants alone making the changing of clothes a frequent reality and the only way to keep the visual sweat and odor away.

If you are looking for the definitive way to stop sweating, then you are going to find more sweating solutions that help you to deal with the problem rather then cure it. The best thing you can do in order to combat this condition is to look into alternative methods of dealing with it such as diet, clothing, sweat pads and even some of the more drastic routes such as minor surgical procedures and even botox. There is really no one “magic bullet” that will “cure” this condition.

The main reason people so desperately seek to find help with their sweating problems is because of the fact that the sweat tends to come visually present in characteristic rings with a distinctive smell that can become embarrassing. This condition usually begins in the years of childhood development close to puberty and usually persist throughout the adult years as well.

Because of the lack of any clear-cut answer on how to stop sweating, the best thing you can do is look into some of the many ways of coping with the situation that were presented earlier. Some of these are simple enough where they do not produce any side effects where some of the other alternatives pose some distinctive medical side effects that might not be worth the risk in the first place.

It is recommended that you consult with a doctor to thoroughly have a diagnoses about the particular severity of your case; once this decision has been reached many people find it advantageous to start with simple sweat remedies such as pads or special types of clothing. The sweating problems one person experiences will be drastically different then another’s case which also means that there is no definite answer to every case in a broad and general sense.
